Steak Night!


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice

  • Steak

  • Ripe Plantains

  • Assorted veggies (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Rice:

    • Prepare rice according to package instructions

  2. Cook the Steak:

    • Season steak with salt and pepper

    • Grill or pan-sear steak to desired doneness

  3. Cook the Plantains & try not to eat them

    • Slice plantains into diagonal pieces.

    • Pan-fry plantain slices in olive oil until golden & caramelized. Don’t look away, they’ll burn with the quickness!

  4. Stir-fry the Veggies:

    • In the same pan, stir-fry assorted veggies in olive oil until tender-crisp. Season with salt, pepper & lemon juice.

  5. Assemble and Serve
