Where do you go?

My laser sessions are being completed at Ideal Image in South Florida! I had FIVE consultations & Ideal Image checked every box on my list.

How do I search for a laser clinic?

Research & consultations! I had five consultations before I made my choice. Consultations are free & can be completed virtually as well.

How much does it cost?

Enough! It’s expensive for sure, so don’t try to take the cheap route. Your skin will be literally lasered, there shouldn’t be any cut corners here.

What are you getting lasered?

Underarms first! I want to take note of how my skin will react. Ya know we gotta be careful with this melanin! FYI, I’m obsessed so far!

Does it work?

As of my third session, I am still obsessed. Heck, after the first I was amazed. I’ve only shaved three times since my sessions started in May. You can’t wax or pluck hairs once you start lasering. Otherwise, there won’t be a hair follicle or root to laser & slow the hair cycle down.

How long does it take?

Each session only takes a minute, I spend more time talking to the other ladies in there! My package is 12 sessions, so I’ll be complete October 2022.

Does it hurt?

I wouldn’t use the word hurt, it’s not painless but it definitely does not compare to getting a tattoo. If you can get your vulva waxed without getting nervous, you’ll be perfectly fine! Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, so keep that in mind too! Numbing cream is available at Ideal Image. I haven’t requested any yet, I want to feel the intensity of each session.

*Update 2022- the intensity of session VI was real! Numbing cream is on my mind for the next session but I think I can manage!

Does it feel like getting waxed?

The feelings don’t compare. Laser is quick, so quick you barley have time to react. But again, everyone’s pain tolerance is different.
