My Third Annual White Elephant Getty!
WE DID IT JOE!!
Cheers to my 3rd Annual White Elephant Getty!!! If you’ve been keeping up the last two years, you know this is my annual gift exchange Christmas Party. The initial plan this year was to have the event at a public location but COVID had other plans! So we ran it back at my apartment with friends only & as always, we had the beessttt time! Everyone’s temperature was taken at the door then they were provided with sanitizer.
I didn’t have a videographer or photographer this year, although I reeallyyy wanted one! But I was more comfortable knowing everyone in my home has been taking necessary precautions to stay safe whilst going about their daily lives during the pandemic. It was a tough decision but definitely the best. I’ll have a photographer/videographer next year when we’re at a venue!! :)
Major shoutout to Kimberly—@paperkuts_studio—she ensured my custom napkins were exactly as I wanted (If ya know me, ya know how indecisive I get) & delivered on time! I found her company on IG, I actually had an order pending with a commercial company but cancelled as sooooon as I was in contact with her. Kimberly I appreciate you saooo much & you’re definitely my go to for all things paper!
Another major shoutout to Party U Rentals for the tables & chairs!!! This is my second year working with them & they were saooo helpful!! Thank you for always providing the best customer service Ruben!!

Can you believe I still have jello-shots leftover?! Along with the drinks, food was provided for everyone: wraps (vegan included), wings, fruit & cheese kabobs, chips & dip! Unfortunately I didn’t bake cookies but I will in advance next year!!
INVITES
We can all agree life has been a less personal due to the pandemic & this is exactly why my invitation was a video this year!! We’ve been reading many messages, emails & posts with limited human interaction. Moving forward, all invites will be videos—I’m also thinking about sending Christmas Gifts as invitations for next year!!
Reminders & gift ideas were sent as graphics (see below) to freshen the memory of the veterans (lol) & so the newbies could know what to expect!
I have so much instore for the years to come, My White Elephant Getty is just the beginning! 2021 will be the fourth year on December 18th!! I can’t wait to kickoff the holiday with everyone again!
