Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
1 Cup (2 Sticks) Unsalted Butter, Softened
3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
3/4 Cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 Large Eggs
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
2 Cups (12 oz) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F
Cream Butter & Sugars:
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar & brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add Vanilla & Eggs:
Beat in the vanilla extract & eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda & salt.
Mix Dough:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the Chocolate Chips Until Evenly Distributed Throughout the Dough.
Form Cookie Dough Balls:
Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake Cookies:
Bake in preheated oven for 9 minutes
Do not wait until they’re golden brown. Cookies continue to bake once they’re removed from the oven.
Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
