How Workers Can Reclaim Their Mornings

Remote workers are stressing themselves out by waking up for work instead of waking up for themselves. I know people who wake up 10… five… heck even TWO MINUTES before work. Simply because they can, not that they should.

If this is you, I want you to do me a favor, set a goal for next week (or tomorrow, that would be spectacular) to start waking up at least 45 minutes to an hour before you start working .

Take the time for yourself: go for a walk, drink some water, have a cup of tea or coffee, eat breakfast & most importantly—get ready— you do know that you don’t have to be going somewhere just to get ready… right?

Get ready for yourself,

trust me when I say, this will make a huge impact on your day mentally.

After you do that special something for yourself, start getting ready for your day: shower, brush your teeth, brush your hair & get dressed. If you wear makeup…baby put on some makeup!!

I want you to  start taking control of your days, especially  when you’re working.

I’ve worked remotely for years now, I’ve had a couple of days when I went directly into work & each time I took an early two hour break just to reset my day because maaannn oh man did I feel disgusted & completely off balance.

So trust me when I say, start your mornings with self-care & see how it transforms your workday.

Your mornings should always start with you
