What You Should Do Before the New Year

We’re back at it again guys—adjusting to the early nightfall, cooler nights & the shocking fact that it’s already the holiday season & yet another year is coming to an end. I’m not one to make New Year resolutions but I always:

  1. Think about where I am currently—mentally, physically & emotionally.

  2. Think about the journey throughout the year that brought me there.

  3. Do something that makes my heart smile.

  4. Bet on myself…again & again & again.

The importance of this is for me to take a moment to review the cards I’ve been dealt & accept anything I haven’t…

This year, I’ve learned to let go—we’ll all be forced to do so one day. Whether it be via death, broken relationships, financially or career wise, you will be forced to release in the best way the lesson can be taught to you. I have no idea what your lesson may be but it’s there!

As you reflect about your year, focus on what you have, what you need & how you’ll grow tomorrow, not in 2022…

Your motivation should be found within, you can be inspired by others to do more/better but only the motivation within will keep you going. The multiple deaths my family & I faced this year forced me to see that there won’t always be a later & it damn sure won’t always be a tomorrow. So now, my motivation is based on the life within, in order to leave a legacy of helping people love themselves just a little bit more. The answers to all of my questions about xoJR are being revealed & I couldn’t be more thankful for the growth.

So take the time to lay 2021 out in front of you, reflect on the journey, apologize/congratulate yourself & don’t return to anything that caused you harm or doubt your worth.

Always remember, Jazzy believes in you!
