Packing Tips
Whether you pack hours, days or weeks in advance, our packing tips will make your process smoother!
-
Avoid the infamous, “omg I forgot…” moment by writing a list. This will help you stay organized & stop you from overpacking.
-
I highly recommend packing cubes if you’re traveling with kids or going to multiple cities. It’s the best solution to keep items organized & separated without the concern of accidentally misplacing an item.
-
Save yourself the headache! Plan your outfits in advance, try them on & pack the outfit together.
Take it a step further by taking pictures in your looks! This will also save your time getting ready!
-
In case your luggage is delayed or lost, keep essentials in your carry-on/personal item.
Nothing is worse than spending $200 at CVS & Ulta on items you know you already have (been there, done that)!
-
Instead of multiple sneakers, heels &/or sandals, pack one type of shoe for your planned activities. i.e., JR packs one pair of: sneakers, clear heels & hiking sandals.
-
A small tip that saves maajjoorr space!
-
Save space & avoid the wrinkles by rolling instead of folding!
-
Pack these first, as a foundation for your other items.
Our go to packing pattern: undergarments (think Victoria Secret drawers), towel (lay flat), packing cubes/other items then lay sweater on top as a cover.
-
Purchase doubles & leave your prepped toiletry bag in the suitcase for your next trip or night out. I love not needing to touch my personal items when I’m leaving!
The purpose: Stay ready, so you don’t have to get ready!
