Tender Wrap
Ingredients:
Large tortilla or wrap
Grilled chicken, chopped
Leafy lettuce leaves (such as romaine or green leaf lettuce)
Purple cabbage, thinly sliced
Fresh spinach leaves
Grated carrots
Hummus (store-bought or homemade)
Optional: Sliced cucumber, avocado, or bell peppers for extra flavor & texture
Instructions:
Cook the Chicken
Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides
Once cooked, let it rest for a few minutes, then, chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces
Prepare the Wrap
Warm tortilla
Allow to cool before step 3
Layer the Ingredients
Spread a layer of hummus evenly over the tortilla
Arrange leafy lettuce leaves over the hummus layer
Add thinly sliced purple cabbage over the lettuce
Layer fresh spinach leaves on top of the cabbage
Sprinkle grated carrots evenly over the spinach.
Add Chopped Chicken
Place the chopped cooked chicken on top of the vegetables.
Wrap it Upppp
Starting from one side, tightly roll up the tortilla into a wrap, tucking in the edges as you go to secure the filling.
Slice the wrap in half diagonally for easier serving.
